My name is Jelena Marinaro and I would like to introduce myself and share the work that I create. I was born in Riga, Latvia, after I graduated from High School, I left my country and went to live in United Kingdom, where I achieved my bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts. During that time, I also started to travel around Europe. I was inspired by stunning architecture, history and modern art that was all around me, especially during my visits to Italy and Spain. In 2013 I moved to USA and further developed new styles and techniques, which resulted in me having better control and more precise detail.

I began to paint famous Hollywood actresses who were not only beautiful but also had a deep soul that was reflected in their eyes, that I wanted to capture with my paintings. You will also find my paintings are reflected in several different styles, which I contribute from living and travelling abroad, my art work became a story of my journey, a story with different chapters that reflect the various periods of my life.
